A little Rainbow of Crazy

Rainbow of Crazy is an art journey. It began with a small Etsy shop with tiny art prints of animals with hats on their heads. But it quickly grew, thanks to the support and love of animal lovers like you! Custom pet portraits, jewelry and greeting cards joined the collection. The Animism Tarot soon followed: a tarot full of animals and symbolism and life.

Hi! I'm Joanna. I'm based in Toronto, Canada, and I've been sharing my art online since 2011 with the name Rainbow of Crazy. I started on Etsy and have since created my own space right here! I'm always working on adding my entire catalogue; so old favourites will find a new home here. It has been no easy task; so thank you to everyone for their patience and support.

I studied art and animation, and I've been an avid animal lover for as long as I can remember. My mom said that when I was a kid, I ran right up to the rabbits at the market. With no hesitation or fear, I started petting them. It was love! Animals love to find a way into my art and I aim to show how wonderful they are in all the portraits I create.

Many years ago, I was told that I was a "walking rainbow of crazy... twinkling with the spectrum of a thousand different colours". I hope to start twinkling again! I deal with symptoms from chronic pain, anxiety and fatigue. Through the highs and lows, I want to learn to work my way through it all with my art. I am so thrilled for the future and growing and sharing more here with you.
